A woman from Njube suburb in Bulawayo who thought sex could be a better alternative for food to soften her angry husband, got a thorough lashing from him. The husband, Arthur Muzondo, appeared at the Western Commonage Magistrates' Court on Wednesday facing a charge of assaulting his wife, Sekai Mashandu.
The court heard that last Wednesday, Muzondo left home in the morning and left no money for his wife to buy food. When he returned in the evening, he was expecting food as he was hungry. However, his wife apologetically told him she had not cooked anything since she did not have money.
After realising that her pleas were falling on deaf ears, she allegedly invited him to their bedroom for sex.
But this allegedly further infuriated Muzondo, who turned down the offer and started battering her. The court heard the wife kept coaxing him despite the heavy battering.
In a fit of rage, Muzondo allegedly refused to share the bed with her and slept on the floor the whole night. The following morning, the wife filed an assault charge. Muzondo was remanded to May 16 on $50 bail.

Some men are seriously dogs. How can you be expecting food when you didn't give her money to buy food to cook. And then you assault her when it's actually your fault. That's a real A*#S. Sorry Madame.
