Though am not a fan f pastor Chris, here he right. †ђε scripture studied in details Ãήϑ also †ђε writings f church fathers as successors f †ђε apostles never condemn alcoholism nor smoking. Even drugs we take contain nicotine...so foes dat make everyone who take prescribed drugs an addict?. Jesus was even termed a drunkard coz he drank Ãήϑ a glutton coz he hardly fast like D̶̲̥̅̊ pharisees.cf. Matt: 11:18-19. Even he changed water into wine which contain alcohol. Cf Jn:2:1-12,...pple shud study sacred scriptures Ãήϑ extral biblical writings like D̶̲̥̅̊ dead sea scrolls wich give us a better insight into †ђε thoughts f †ђε first century Christians-their tenets Ãήϑ response to things, Ãήϑ not what somebody having NƠ̴̴̴͡ indepth knowledge f theology Ãήϑ circumstances that elicited some response from jesus. Anything taking in excess or outside its mandate is wat constitute sin. Like example sex used within marriage is adorable but outside marriage is deplorable before God Ãήϑ man. So †ђε fact i abstain from alcohol or cigarettes does not make it sinful coz others do take these. What constitute sin is drunkenness Ãήϑ addiction. Smoking isn't a sin, but it's a stupid thing to do in the first place.
Smoking is sin, lots of people have died due to complication caused by smoking. they violate the law of Almighty God "thou shall not Kill" They short their life span due to smoking. They know fully well that smokers are liable to die young. It sin for one to take his life.

smoking is not a sin and alcohol is not either after all Jesus turned water in to wine but dont drink to stupor you people are just too religious and dont understand the bible ask God to give you devine wisdom and interpretation. dont over do it and dont be addicted to it its the principle make una leave people alone. with regards to smoking we are admonished to cleans our selves of every Defilement of the Flesh perfecting Holiness in God's Fear and smoking defiles us as humans (2Corinthian Chapter 7 verse 1) smoking tobacco endangers health and life.
