It has been a very long time I have done this; giving my personal opinion on any issue at hand. My last was with Linda Ikeji and Toke face-off.

Few weeks ago, I wrote a story on Ini Edo being in a club but spotted leaving with a man. Her hubby, Philip Ehiagwina reacted to the story claiming it was untrue, which I published.

Of course, Ini is 'our' wife as my Ishan tradition says; her hubby and I are from the same tribe.

On March 23, 2012, sexy actress, wife and mother of four, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde celebrated 16 years of marriage to her handsome husband, Captain Mathew Ekeinde.

For many, that was phenomena due to the fact that most Nollywood marriages don't last that long before hitting the rock. Little wonder OK magazine celebrated the couple alongside President Obama of America, Jay Z and others in their first Nigerian version of the American magazine in 2012.

Some have said that Capt. Mathew should take the glory of keeping the marriage but it only takes two to tangle. The hands become clean when the two wash each other. A tree doesn't make a forest.

Within 16 years of Omotola's marriage, many scandals have been written about her but not a time has Capt. Mathew come out to say a word about them.

To some journalists, it is rather getting too much of Mr Philip Ehiagwina, the husband of Ini Edo reacting always to 'unpleasant' stories written about his wife.

Few years ago, he reportedly warned Nigerian journalists not to write any negative stories about his wife, Ini Edo. Doing that, according to what was reported, he would deal with such journalist.

But questions that come to mind(s) are, if he can't handle a celebrity-wife, why not marry a 'normal' woman? If he were President Jonathan, would he have arrested all journalists that have written negative stories about his wife, Patience?

Why not take lessons from Capt. Mathew Ekeinde on how to manage a celebrity-wife? Or better still, learn not to react to negative stories about his sweet wife, Ini Edo as Capt. Mathew has done in the case of Omotola?

Don't get me wrong here, I do not mean journalists should write untrue stories about people but when such are done, the law courts are there to handle such matters.

Remember the popular song by MI ft. 2Face. I rest my case. Over to you our forumites.

Angry We can't force Philip Ehiagwina to behave like Captain Mathew Ekeinde. As for the latter (Captain Ekeinde), that is his own business. Owan culture (from where Captain Mathew Ekeinde got his root) does not allow married women to showcase their "strategic endowments" or be seen "being in a club but spotted leaving with a man!" It is better for Mr Ehiagwina to "cry wolf" even if what he is seeing is a rat! I don't think he should attack journalist wrongly, but a stitch in time saves nine!
