Senator Albishir dies in auto crash

THE senator representing Yobe Central senatorial district and former governorship candidate, Senator Usman Albishir is dead.

Nigerian Tribune learnt that he died in an auto crash at Kura Local Government Area of Kano State on the Kano/Kaduna highway.

Sources close to Government House, Damaturu said Governor Ibrahim Geidam received the news of the death with shock.

According to them, “The governor was sad when they told him the news about the death of Senator Albishir. He received the news with
shock.”

The late Albishir hailed from Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State.
He is survived by many children.
