Manchester City has denied the report making the rounds that Edin Dzeko is closing in on a deal with AC Milan, claiming that they have never heard of any Sead Susic represnting Dzeko as his agent.

Dzeko, 26, has been linked with a move to the San Siro for some time, but speculation went viral since striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic decided to swap AC Milan for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Bosnia international’s alleged representative, Sead Susic, claimed that discussions had taken place with Milan but City insist those claims are false.

“The club have no knowledge of the so-called spokesman Mr Susic, nor has it given a mandate to any third party to discuss the transfer of Edin Dzeko, who remains a Manchester City player,” said a City spokesman.

Dzeko, who is presently with City on their pre-season tour of Austria, signed from Wolfsburg for £27 million 18 months ago, but has never managed to hit the heights expected. He has struggled for first team football at Eastlands, with Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli all ahead in the pecking order.

Dezko’s supposed agent Sead Susic spoke to some italian sport magazine that  Edin would love to play in Serie A and with the Rossoneri. A move to AC Milan is more than possible. There have been discussions and they are continuing. Let’s see what will happen in the coming days.

After the departure of Ibrahimovic, Dzeko would be an ideal replacement and it would be a wonderful experience, but we are waiting to see what happens. Is there a 70% chance that he ends up at Milan.
