Among those killed on Wednesday night was one Nosa Ebohon who just graduated from the University of Benin. He was said to have been shot at the residence of his friend at Ugbowo, an outskirt of Benin City.
Two other victims were shot at Adolor College road in Ugbowo and Zabayor street of Stadium road in Benin City.
one Clifford, popularly known as Lekeleke was shot dead in front of his wife and friend at Okhoro in Benin City.
Eyewitnesses said three gunmen walked into the shop and shot the deceased severally after which they collected handsets of other persons in the shop and fled.
Public Relations Officer of the Edo State Police Command, DSP Anthony Airhuoyo who confirmed the Okhoro incident said investigation has begun but no arrest has been made.
He said he would contact Divisional Police Officers in charge of areas where the alleged killings took place for confirmation.
