Now back to the story itself . . Its just another revelation of the tribal or religious cankerworm that is deeply embedded in the Nigerian culture. People would put tribal or religious interest above national loyalty despite the National pledge of loyatly we read on a daily basis:
"I pledge to Nigeria my country to be faithful loyal and honest, to serve Nigeria with all my strength , to defend her unity and uphold her honour and Glory, so help me God "
If only we could walk the talk..
I think its more of Political interests...d seemingly tribal or religious interests is just a diversion to keep 'our' reasoning busy n focused in d wrong directions buying 'them' time and space to pursuing 'their' selfish course. These days, nobody truly cares about anybody be it same tribe or same religion...it's all about POWER...personal and not collective!
