Quote from: sandra78 on 2-10-2012 04:22 PM God please wipe out this leprosy religion called Islam from the face of this world...... If Islam should be wiped out of the world, then the world is finished because looking around the world; there is no mosque of satan but there is church of satan. satan has taken over xtianity by introducing sodomy, church of satan/666, 419ners, hypocrisy of the highest order and other vices into xtianity. It is only in xtianity that different groups practice diff mode of worship. All over the world, islamic mode of worship is largely uniform unlike xtianity. Really, another name for xtianity is DECEPTION

Why are Easterners still living in Northern Nigeria? Reply

Attackers who massacred at least 26 people in a student housing area in northern Nigeria on Tuesday called victims out by name before shooting them or slitting their throats, a police spokesman said. Reply“The attackers knew their targets,” police spokesman Mohammed Ibrahim told AFP. “They were calling out names of their targets in each house they entered, and once the target identified himself he would be shot dead. We strongly suspect an inside operation.” He added that some victims’ throats were slit. Details were still emerging of the attack in the early hours of Tuesday in the town of Mubi, with emergency and security officers in the region having rushed to the town. Police spokesman Mohammed Ibrahim confirmed 26 people killed. A relief official said 15 people were wounded and taken to hospital, adding that the military had taken over the area. Adamawa state, where Mubi is located, has been hit by violence blamed on Islamist extremist group Boko Haram, and Mubi itself was the site of a recent high-profile military raid targeting the insurgents. Some officials however suggested the attack was linked to recently held student elections, though they could not explain how or why it would have become so deadly. Nigerian officials have been seeking to show they are having success in the fight against Boko Haram with a number of raids and arrests. There had been a lull in major attacks in recent weeks. “We are not ruling out insider involvement, although we don’t know who is behind the killings yet,” said Ibrahim. “We have opened investigations.” A spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency said initial reports indicated some of the victims were candidates in the polls. “The crisis in Mubi is suspected to have been fueled by campus politics after an election at the Federal Polytechnic,” said the agency’s Yushau Shuaib. Abdulkarim Bello of the Red Cross said “they are conducting elections in the Federal Polytechnic and unknown gunmen just entered and sprayed people with bullets”. Nigeria’s military said last week it had killed a senior Boko Haram leader and arrested 156 suspected members of the group during a raid in Mubi. The town had been placed under curfew during the raid but it has since been lifted. In September, Boko Haram claimed arson attacks on about two dozen telecommunication masts across northern Nigeria, with Mubi among the areas hit. Mobile phone reception has been badly affected in some areas. Mubi is not far from the city of Maiduguri in neighbouring Borno state, which is considered the base of the Islamist group that is blamed for killing more than 1,400 people in northern and central Nigeria since 2010. The town has seen previous such violence, including in January, when gunmen opened fire on Christian Igbos at a house as they mourned the death of a friend killed in a shooting the night before. Residents and a relief official reported up to 17 people dead, while police said 12 were killed, with between two and five people killed the previous night in the same town. Boko Haram has claimed to be seeking an Islamic state in Nigeria’s mainly Muslim north, but its demands have repeatedly shifted and it is believed to include a number of factions with varying aims. Nigeria’s government has claimed to be engaging in back-channel talks in a bid to end the insurgency, but Boko Haram’s suspected leader, Abubakar Shekau, denied dialogue had occurred in a YouTube video posted on Sunday. Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation and largest oil producer, is roughly divided between a mainly Muslim north and predominately Christian south. Idiot, this is the real story.those are the CHRISTIANS BOKO HARAM so, they identified the MUSLIM STUDENTS and killed them, GOD is watching you all It was a black Independence Day for the inhabitants of Mubi town, Adamawa State, as at least 46 persons, mostly students of three tertiary institutions, in the town were massacred in cold blood on Monday night by unknown gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram. The casualties, believed to be, mostly students of the Federal Polytechnic, School of Health Technology and the Adamawa State University, all in Mubi, were shot dead on Monday night in what was described by the spokesman of federal polytechnic as a "commando style attack". The spokesman [named withheld for security reasons] of the Federal Polytechnic Mubi, who spoke to This Day on telephone, said the shooting took place on the night of the Independence Day, at about 10pm, when unknown gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram, open fire on some students at Wuro Fatuje. He stated that there was sporadic shooting which lasted for over one hour. Wuro Fatuje, a surburb of Mubi, is heavily populated with off-campus students of the three institutions. He stated that the unknown gunmen invaded the area shooting sporadically at any moving persons, for over one hour. "There was heavy gun fire of different calibers around 10 pm till 11pm, when it subsided." He confirmed that 26 students of the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi are amongst the casualties. While the other casualties are students of the other two sister institutions. The corpses are deposited at the Mubi general hospital. As at the time of filling report, the internal joint security taskforce headed by the Brigade Commander, Brigadier –Gen. John Nwoaga, and the state Police Commissioner, Geofrey Okeke, were rushing reinforcement to the scene of the incident.
