Fresh from her performances on Trybe Records’ recent Olympic tour, the very talented singer/songwriter and musician Aramide unveils this viral video for her acoustic cover of eLDee’s hit record, “Today Today”.
After wrapping up a session at Iman Studios, Aramide shows off her prowess on the guitar and unique vocal style for some of the Trybe crew with a bold spin on the hugely popular song; only a keyboardist accompanies her as she sings while handling guitar duties in this primarily acoustic rendition.
The video highlights one of Aramide’s many gifts – the ability to bring music to its purest, simplest form. She ups the level of sentiment in this Pop hit, shedding the instrumentation and party-feel of the original, and smiling through a rendition that feels intimate and personal.
With her new single already recorded and the anticipation growing, the talented songstress who is signed to Trybe Records is currently putting the finishing touches to her debut album.
