- Manchester United are confident of re-signing Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo should he be on the move this summer.

- Chelsea are considering approaches for former manager Avram Grant and coach Steve Holland should Rafael Benitez be sacked before the end of the season.

- Benitez has claimed to BBC Sport he has an "excellent" relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and will see out the rest of the season as interim manager.

- Manuel Pellegrini is a contender to replace Benitez in the summer, the Malaga coach's agent has said.

- Luis Suarez has cast doubt over his future at Liverpool by refusing to rule out a summer move to Bayern Munich.
