JAMB Set to Release 2025 UTME Results Today

By 8am today, Friday, candidates who participated in this year’s UTME can begin checking their results.

Over 1.9 million candidates sat for the 2025 UTME, which is scored out of 400 marks.

JAMB released a breakdown of the performance ahead of the result announcement, revealing a concerning trend: more than 1.5 million candidates scored below 200, the widely accepted average benchmark score for university admissions in Nigeria.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, attributed the low scores to the effectiveness of recent government policies aimed at curbing examination malpractice.
