Police Save Pastor From Getting Lynched By Angry Mob

But for the timely intervention of riot policemen in Akure, the Ondo state capital on Sunday, a Pastor, whose identity had yet been ascertained as at press time, would have been lynched while his church would have been set ablaze by some hoodlums protesting the death of a two year old boy Feranmi Oladeji who fell inside the church soak-away and died instantly.

Policemen were promptly deployed in the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Ihinrere in the Aiyedun area of Akure metropolis on Sunday following distress calls as the thugs invaded the place and held worshippers hostage brandishing dangerous weapons.
