Like other people have said,  is not a new thing in edo state their proud of it i know one inspector General of police Mr Egbon i lived in his house for 3 years when i was in edo state, his only daughter was into it and the whole family was proud of it, so is not a big deal for them as long she's sending cash home

Do you mean to say most Edo girls took to prostitution because they were "frightened into obedience?" Unbelievable that in this day and age people still believe in such. These culprits really had a psychological hold over these women and mixed with the cultural upbringing of the women. Well does it now mean the government of Nigeria can put a paid advertisement on TV's  around the world informing the girls of "Edo state origin" and involved in this filthy act of prostitution that they ARE NOT under any voodoo curse and that they can now come home to their kith and kin?

I doubt it. They are there because they want to be!!!
