He also appealed to the Czech Republic to allow a Nigerian prisoner, Mr. Victor Uriah, serving jail terms for drug trafficking, to be transferred back home to complete his prison terms.
According to him, the Bill on Same Sex Marriage, which was sponsored by Senator Domingo Obende, ACN, Edo North, and approved by both chambers of the National Assembly, remains the way it is.
According to him, it will not in anyway infringe on the human rights of Nigerians.
Speaking at a dinner hosted in his honour by the Nigerian community in Prague, Czech Republic, Senator Mark assured Nigerians outside the country that the government would not fold its arms and watch them being dehumanised by their host communities.
He was, however, quick to add that Nigerians living outside the country must abide by the laws of the country where they resided and shy away from activities that might mar the image of Nigeria.
He said: “The law against same-sex marriage is an approval of the wishes of the generality of Nigerians who are desirous of living within our cultural bounds.
