Did Prof Soyinka Actually Say This About Jonathan's Wife?

A quote has been circulating on the social media, said to have been made by the Nobel Laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka, which is a direct ridicule on President Gooodluck Jonathan's wife, Patience.
Patience Jonathan is a Permanent Secretary in Bayelsa State, so I don't know if this statement credited to Prof Soyinka could be said to be the truth about her. See the quote below:

    "When you marry an illiterate woman, you make stupid decisions like Jonathan."

 If Prof Soyinka actually said this, how come an "illiterate" is made a Permanent Secretary?

That Patience Jonathan is not a professor does not make her an illiterate let me ask apart from criticizing governments what has Prof. Soyinka done to better the lives of Nigerians? what suggestions has he made to our leaders present and past on the way forward none if Soyinka continues this way, he will lose the little remaining self respect he has. Thank God the president did not join issues with him on that perhaps Soyinka will now meet with Patience in her kitchen so that they can talk woman to woman
