the dreams have come
when the nights are quiet
and the days are done
when in your mind
you look around
in hope to find
the gentle sound
of her sweet voice
in the calming winds
with your own choice
you pick the one
you know you love
too hold her tight
with one to live
you think you might
ask her there
to be your wife
to love and care
through out your life
when you get down
to your one knee
the time is now
for you too be
but then what happens
is always the worst
you wake too have had
your heart that burst
because your love
was not really true
it was only a dream
and nothing for you.
