SAD NEWS! former deputy VC of the UI Died while Watching Nigeria Vs Ethiopia

An Emeritus Professor of Transport Planning and Development, Michael Filani, died on Sunday while watching the Nigeria/Ethiopia World Cup qualifying match.

The deceased, who was a former deputy vice-chancellor of the University of Ibadan (UI), slumped and died while watching the match at his Oluyole Extension home in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

He hailed from Ikole-Ekiti. His death was received with shock by the university community yesterday. Many people said he was agile and radiant at his last public outing.

The late Filani had 32 years of experience in teaching and research. In the last 37 years, he served in various capacities within and outside U.I.

U ARE NOT A HUMAN BIN AT ALL,   I mean what is wrong in watching football if that will make him happy? As a human bin there is something u love most in your life right? And u always happy when ever u does them, So dont be surprise that God will still call u to him self when u are involve in doing those things

You are evidently insulated in your lifestyle and know nothing about the realities of life. Death sends no letter to your home to announce it's coming. We can die, including you, at anytime. So just live each day as if it is your last.

And just to add- from your comment, I believe if he had died while in an argument with someone, you would it down to "evil forces!"

Grow up and mix with enlightened people.
