This might be a set-up, a desperado can do anything to gain public attention and sympathy.  Anyway even if it is true, the accuser would have published his evidence in an audio-visual format or present a witness  to make his case strong.  As it is right now, no one can tell who is right.  I am against same sex affairs but it would be wrong to allow a blackmailer tarnish the image innocent public figures just to get even.
