Death not purnishment, we all owe death. In democracy everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, in fact possibility that two children could report their father in different ways and another, while some people praises God for rain, some complains of disturbs when it rains, gives a clear-cut understanding of diversity of perception. Not sounding like an agent-provocateur of Adedibu but objectively speaking, without been allowed to be bamboozled by the dogmatic interest of some reporters and political enemies of Baba Adedibu who adopted propaganda as a weapon to blackmail and blacklist him, the political Icon is a representation of vanguard for the grassroots politicians. Unlike other rich-men and politicians who make themselves in-accessible to the common man, Adedibu takes from the rich and give to the poor, Using the grassroot control to get someone to power and simply getting back and continuously too, for constant feeding of the needy and his proponents. Why many widows, orphans and other needy almost cried life out of themselves on the news of Adedibu's death? Many believe a philanthropist like Adedibu is rare, how I wish many politicians could emulate his philantrophic ideals, not even his adversaries could operate an open door policy like him. Adedibu have his politics brewed in oven of reality unlike those who make much noise on ideology without a corresponding impact on the people for which it is meant. Adedibu was indeed a rare gem, a colossus, an enigma and man of exemplary character. May he rest in perfect peace. I know even within his opposition his death is a bitter-sweet as they have one thing or the other to loose for his death. Every Ibadan politician at one time or the other has passed through him for their political tutelage, and they have once at least shared his political philosophy and ideals. Every human being have their positive and excesses, if not negative, May God forgive Adedibu of his excesses. His courage is rare, Ibadan, not just Ibadan, Yoruba race and the entire Nigerian polity will miss him as his vacuum is irreplaceable at the immediate. Insinuations, casted aspertions, and belief in propaganda areall sins in the scriptures. Thou shall not judge thy fellow.

that's one funny thing about us nigerian is that, we call somebody a sinner when he's alive and a saint when he's dead
for once i have never like pa Adedibu for his role(god fatherism) in the politic of ibadan and nigeria in general
while wouldn't obasanjo said that after all birds of the same feather flock 2gather

Really amazing. i am am ibadan indigiene, lots of word to say but they always said that never speak bad about the dead. On thing i knew for sure , Adedibu is a mentor and a politician, politics is about being elected and that what he does, if he wants you for a post you get it, Can you imagine the former deputy governor (Gbolarunmi). someone with a mere privary school certificate, an illiterate for that matter becoming a depty governor....na wa o for naija...... although i love baba Adedibu, i admire him for one thing, he always speak the truth and also helps people in need.... some people cannot understan because most of all this politician we have doesnt even care about others, they dont help the needy, he does feeding over a 1000 people  3 times a day is generous even if the money was stolen from the govt, he still render help to the needy...poverty is not a good thing in life...remember that...so may Adedibu soul rest in peace and May Allah forgive him of all his wrong doing...Amen

anyway adedibu or watever they call you make your soul rest in peace so that ibadan and naija as a whole go get peace.

what a wonderful GOD,
this man just died like a fowl, i cant beleive this GOD
who knows this story in the Bible, its a parable of a rich man that said "yes i have haversted all in my farmland, i can now be sleeping and be rejoicing and without mindful of GOD, and GOD said you FOOLISH man thisday we shall asked for you soul. and that man died.
i read it in the news that he said his son shall be install as the Oyo state governor coming 2011, and is not even up to 24hours GOD took his life
this is a lesson to all mankind,
no matter who u are think there is someone somewhere watching you.

U like it or not its going to be eight days he was buried. Please pray for his soul, that God in his infinite mercies should grant his soul perfect peace, if u ever had the opportunity to meet him, i won't say he was a gentle man rather a kind and generous man. Adieu Baba Agba, Ibadan will miss u forever, Molete is without u , Oh may u rest forever, I love u.
