yes...its advisable. i have one. I think that all married couples, new and old, should hold joint checking and savings accounts. I understand the argument for separate accounts, but when you said “I do” at the altar, you made a commitment to become one cohesive unit. You are a team, and you need to act like one. financial problems are one of the biggest issues among married couples and the both of you need to have an budget and understanding

it actually depends on ........if u are ok with it..... some men, no dey play in terms of money...... but u got a strong point.

you dont have to wait for him to counter sign your cheque before you withdraw money. co signatory simply means either of you can sign for the money not the two of you at the same time.
so the issue of trust comes in
