Abike is echoing the voice of her master in apc, pls stop politicking with our financial system, no one is above his master, sanusi should be probed for all of his financial attrocities and recklessness while in office. Jonathan has the power to hire and fire, period.

Government Notice No.34, page A69

Central Bank of Nigeria Act.
Disqualification and cessation of appointment.

11.-(1) A person shall not remain a Governor, Deputy Governor or Director of the bank if he is ................
(f) is removed by the President:
Provided that the removal of the  Governor shall be supported by two-thirds majority of the senate praying that he be so removed.

For the removal to stand, the President has to apply to the senate to vote for his removal, and prays that he secures two-thirds majority in the senate.

For your information, both the appointment and the sack are subject to approval by the parliament. That is what the constitution said.

Point of correction, she did not say suspension is equal to sacking, try and read her twit once again. She said sending another name to the senate for comfirmation is tantamount to sacking
