If the President appoints the Governor, he should be able to fire him.

The President have the power to sack him as long as the CBN is under the Presidency. The President have the right to sack him with the recommendation of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, which is actually what happened. So you just shut up and focus on what is happening to Nigerians in Diaspora and how the government can help them.A Nigerian was killed in Dakar Senegal some weeks ago,you and your committee are yet to do something about that. Most Embassies do as they like and treat Nigerians in Diaspora with disdain, concentrate yourself on the work assigned to you and stop telling the President when he is right or not,the President have advisers that tells him what he have the right to do and what he does not have the right to do.

Thank u very much for your good sense of reasoning, i think most people here should sometimes reason with their heads and stop talking like uneducated people. Thank you once again for educating these type of people.

It looks like Nigeria is heading the right direction......kudos to the President and his wise advisers........long live to the federal republic of Nigeria and up President Jonathan till 2019
you think he's on the right channel? then Nigeria has no leader of tomorrow with this orientation. anyone that tries to point out Gej's .f.up automatically becomes his target.  sorry for him cos he's now an autocratic leader who has just down his own seed of destruction.

For your information, both the appointment and the sack are subject to approval by the parliament. That is what the constitution said.

Point of correction, she did not say suspension is equal to sacking, try and read her twit once again. She said sending another name to the senate for comfirmation is tantamount to sacking
