This is where I will agree with you that the pastor that re-married was judged based only by RCCG foundation beliefs and christian code of conduct and certainly not based on the BIBLE.
So long as his demotion was based on RCCG rules and regulations, then it is fine by me. If anybody claims it was based on the Bible, I will have to disagree.

If you read Genesis 30:1-end, and 35:22-26, you will discover that Jacob had two wives and two concubines. Leah had six male children, the concubines both had two each, while rachel had two male children; all totalling twelve children born to Jacob. Divorcement is wrong and God doesn't sanction it. Any one who marry those persons will be committing adultery as long as they are alive, Romans 7 vs 2-3, Matt 19 vs 8-9, 1 Corith 7 vs 10. This man should stay with the church and preach/teach the correct way of the Bible. Moses was the one who go ahead and give the children of israel without the authority of God. This is what Men of God does, they will go ahead and talk/do things because they are given the authority to speak on behalf of God. Paul did it too when he told persons that whether their husbands or wives are a christian they should stay inside the marriage. God told us not to be uneven yoke, and he told the children of Israel not to go outside of their tribe and marry. If God did believe in adultery then He would be the one marry to us. But NO He divorce the Children of Israel and let us married to Jesus Christ His Son. Let us start reading our bible and apply wisdom inside our lives. Everything in the bible is for us to have a good spiritual and physical life. Anyway if he is living a obedient life and God want him to have a wife, then he can remarry. Maybe his first marriage was one of rebellion were he was warned not to be marry and he still go ahead. I said this because on my first baptism I disobey my parents and went a head. I was taught that it wasn't record because God is not one of rebellion (disobedience). If he is to be remarry God will show it to him and then send a confirmation. I'll mostly agree with Babylaja4real and Donuche. What does the Bible refer to as marriage? Does the Bible sanction "divorce"? If yes, under what circumstances? If no, what does the Bible mean when it says if a woman commits adultery the husband can take another wife? Before anyone begin to discuss marriage they need to separate marriage as outlined in the Bible and marriage as defined by man. If judged by the Bible the pastor should have been looking a new wife since Mrs pastor had another man or committed adultery. If judged by man's laws, then I guess he had to file for a divorce and wait for the official certificate of divorce before he can begin the hunt for another wife. All the stuff about for better for worse and until death do us part...who said they were vows to be made before a marriage?
