A youngster has been forced to pay income tax in Lagos state Nigeria without any employment or source of income.
Ifezue Chimdindu Chukwueloka was forced to pay 10 thousand naira recently at his parents house in Lagos.
According Chindinmu’s parents, some officials from Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (Ejigbo branch) came to their residence in Isolo and insisted that Chindinmu must pay income tax for this year.
One Alhaja Goloba and Mr Ladipo from Ejigbo Tax office took N10,000 from the youngster’s parent for income tax for 2014.
