I use 2 condenm Jim Iyke's attitude in his movies bcos of d way he behaves in movies, like he's forcing d acting on himself. His acts/attitude in his movies always looks FAKE 2 me.

I decided 2 listen 2 Jim Iyke's song b4 commenting on it and i've just did through d link above (below). My comment is: That he tried, at-least there were beating of drums and voices like 2face's. No much difference 2 what d other guys like Timaya, African China, etc, sang. He needs 2 brush himself more.
Jim Iyke knew dat using 2face would give him an edge dats why he used him. Maybe, untill i see d video of d song then i can conclude whether its Non-sence or not.

Jim really got the style of a Rapper, only he just need to work on his voice and minimixe talking too much.HE really knows how to use the Rap language and thats what rap is all about. Believe me ,I saw it on AIT music rotation or so here in UK ; I recorded it and played it over and over for several weeks and am still enjoying every bit of it. It seems to be one of the many Nigerian musicians who made sense in their music, most use very funny song titles like in the movies too; and that really limits their popularity. The lyrics are just too good, something like this this :-

am a contradition,
am the Ivy college,
am the street corner
am the gentleman most of the thugs hate...

This sums everthing up!!! this shows his mastery of the Rap language,  most I have heard are just mixing local languages in their songs making them sound like area boys on stage.
 
And 2face was brilliant. Kudos J.I,  Wink

i dont want to be quick to judge but, that jim guy is not even in his right mind;i am a good fan oh,but kai that guy just fall ma hand,e think say rap na one day,make e go listen 2 them mode nine first. the most painful,disappointing,unexpected,annoying,frustating and uncopmrehendable part is that tuface of all people no slap that face.when i hear the names of some of d tracks self i been don disappoint finish,imagine;

number 1. the name no too long?

number 2. if u look at dat phrase very well u will realize that it is practically true but does not have any real aplication in life and reality.he now sounds like one of these juvenile boys tryin to kick wisdom. i only wish he understands.

He shldnt even call that thing rap; it is an insult to what other  lyricists have done.

yeah I thinki Jim can RAP and ACT.... I,m cool with that. but comparing him to the likes of 50cent aahhhh thats absurd. HE CAN NEVER RAP LIKE 50!!!

Aba, na so una hate Jim Iyke reach? The guy tried now, i'v seen his video clips, i have it and listen to it almost every weekend, but he just have to work on his voice and work with top rappers to improve his rap, i don't like his acting though, cos he's always too full of himself.
