Eight pregnant ladies including teenage girls have been rescued by the Ogun State police command at an alleged baby making factory located at number 9 Sebanjo Crescent, off Fabolude Busstop, Akute area of Ifo local government of Ogun State.

The police also arrested a middle aged man and a 26 year old woman running the factory.
While parading the suspects at the Ajuwon Divisional Police Headquarters, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Mr Ikemefuna Okoye, described the development as inhuman, insisting that the command would get to the root of the matter.
The suspects are expected to be transferred to the state criminal investigation department for through investigations.
The structure which housed the hostages appeared as residential building but the latest discovery by the police revealed that a baby making factory was domiciled in the house, where teenage girls were made to part with their babies after delivery and a token given.
The 26 year old woman, Angela Chigoeze, who claimed to be operating a divine herbal clinic, has been arrested as the one in charge of the illicit operation which sold babies for an alleged sum of 300,000 Naira (about 1,800 dollars).
“If they give birth, I will sell the child for 300,000. I sell it to women that cannot give birth,” she said.
The state’s Commissioner of Police said the arrest was made possible through information by some residents, adding that the police was on the trail of other accomplices.
Baby factory is gradually becoming a business in Nigeria, as there have been discovery of similar factories in the eastern part of Nigeria.
The discovery of a baby factory in Imo State in December 2013 led to the banning of all non-governmental organization operating under the platform of motherless babies’ home.
About 24 persons were also arrested in January at a Baby factory uncovered in Ilu-Titun, a town in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State by the Officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service in the state. ****** Meanwhile, four middle aged men have been gunned down and fatally wounded by the command in Sango area of the state while robbing a Bureau De Change.
Items recovered from them included arms and ammunition and a Toyota Yaris vehicle with registration number

This is beyond sickness , it's an epidemic of moral failure, the perpetrators of these "evil" has violated the basic compact of personal and societal ethics, I'm sure it's not only poverty but also inbred wickedness that has led this people to descend to this level of depravity .

I was on my way out anyway; boredom don reach me for this forum, because I didn’t get much conversations. I felt like I was alone in a forest talking to trees. As I don’t know why I am banned, it’s normal I speculate on the apparent reasons. I can pinpoint this video below that I posted few days ago and because since I landed on Naijapal, topics no longer get more than 3 pages of comments compared to the 20 to even 60 pages trend on a single topic, especially those tainted with regional or tribal facet. As Naijapal want Nigerians dey continue to tear themselves apart with rubbish comments full of unnecessary stream of insults, I AGREE to leave you at it. I don tire sef and don lose hope for Nigeria.
Some FOOLS believe the solution is to split the country, I wish God open your EYES and make you realize the country is already divided and disparate. Some worship Ogun, some worship Abubakar (AKA Allah), some worship Python, some believe animals skin have mystical power, some jump inside mud for healing, some follow men that live in rundown shack full of dead animals bones and body part and do as commanded by them..... I wish the problem were just Jonathan Ebele but IT IS NOT ! There are too many issues to deal with... The problem is all of us Nigerian. People rejoiced when Abacha don die, are we better off now?
Some say maybe Islam be the answer, Islam sef have many doctrines according to tribal affiliation, there’s the Shiites on one side with the Ayatollah in Iran as their leader (pope), the Sunnis have their own leader, the Saudi family of Saudi Arabia want ownership of Islam because Mecca is on their land, they also financed the gulf war against the Sunni Saddam Hussein and the African Kaddafi whom they considered as their enemy as they were not under their influence, the Pakistani Muslims have nothing to do with the former and finally there’s Taliban’s and Al Qaida on their own side too. To be short, I let you pinpoint the divisions within the Igbos and the Yorubas alike. What is the one Nigeria we think we have about? WHAT? Americans don fight together against England. What about us? There is no ONE NIGERIA as I dey write now !

I think we must say TO HELL WITH TRADITIONS, and start on a blank canvas. Re-write rules on a white sheet of paper based on togetherness and JEHOVAH’s laws. Our traditions stemmed from uneducated prehistoric Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa who did not even care to leave written language for us but, only dialects and mystical belief.

Let me tell you this, God is more beautiful than all the beautiful boys and girls you ever set eyes on, to be in his presence alone is more rewarding (pleasuring) than e.jaculation or seeing unclad virgin girls and boys, or to make love, or to watch porn movies, or to masturbate. That is what you should expect (see God, His Wisdom and feel His Love), not to see naked virgin girls and boys. Were these young girls really "rescued" from the now ALL-TOO- COMMON baby factories springing up all over the country? Becoming pregnant and selling the baby on - to make money appears to be the 2014 "way out of poverty agenda!"
All the "rescued" girls should ALSO be arrested and charged and their babies handed over to deserving families who will bring uo them up with LOVE and not as COMMODITIES!
P.S. TO GBOJAC Its a pity you have decided to sign off from this forum. However I do understand your reasons. Nigeria is as diverse as the views posted. Some people reading your comment will pick on iys religious overtone. Others will feel you are jealous of those in the entertsinment industry (which I know you are NOT). Still others will feel you are tribalist (which you are not) or even a mouthpiece for the ruling junta - sorry government. they should not be referred to as "rescued". They should be branded as "caught in the act" because they are willing participants and enablers in this repulsive human trade because of their greed and wickedness, and so, should be appropriately charged. Also the federal govt should set up a whistle blower fund to reward any person the sum of N300,000 who exposes these baby factories.
