Ekiti State Governor-elect, Mr. Ayodele Fayose in a recent interview with Punch reporters talked about the recent election in Ekiti state and general politics in the South-West including Lagos State Governor Fashola.

Fayose revealed that he was not shocked by his recent victory, and said that everyone knew that his campaign was strong enough as he is a well known man in Ekiti. He said despite his leave of eight years he never left his citizens.

He also responded to Fashola’s recent statement that his opposition led by Fayemi accepted defeat because he did not want bloodshed in the state.

He said: "I really don’t want to join issues with them, particularly, Governor Fashola because I like him so much. I like his person and I have a lot of respect for him. But Governor Fashola is talking from two sides of his mouth.
