Alvaro Morata’s Juventus career has started on a sad note, after the striker picked up a knee injury on his first day of training.
The Spaniard completed a €20million transfer to the Italian champions last weekend and suffered the setback on Monday.
“During training this afternoon Alvaro Morata has reported a sprain in his left knee,” Juventus confirmed on their official website.
The 21-year-old is currently awaiting results of a scan to assess the extent of damage and will be hoping it is not too severe.
