When Wang Han from China decided to pop the question to his girlfriend Zhen Juan Kang, he ditched the dozen red roses, and opted for thousands of hot dogs.
According to Kotaku, the couple first met 3 years ago at a hot-dog shop in Thailand. Ever since, the couple have delighted in their mutual love of the pork-based semi-sandwich.
With the help of a sponsor, Wang procured 1,001 hot dogs – one for each day since he and Kang met, and used them to spell out the word “love”.
His girlfriend, said Yes (of course) and the pair celebrated by sharing a quick bite of, no surprise, a hot dog.
