Ray’s contract was terminated by the Baltimore Ravens and he was suspended indefinitely by the league. Today, his wife Janay, decided to share her thoughts on the issue via Instagram. She points no finger at her husband, but instead slams media outlets and blames them for taking “all of the happiness away” from her family. “I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare,” she wrote in an Instagram post, “feeling like I’m mourning the death of my closest friend. But to have to accept the fact that it’s reality is a nightmare in itself. Nobody knows the pain that the media and unwanted attention opinions from the public has caused my family. To make us a relive a moment that we regret is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his a** off for all his life just to gain rating is horrific. THIS IS OUR LIFE. What don’t you all get. If your intentions were to hurt us, embarrass us, make us feel alone, take all of the happiness away, you’ve succeeded on so many levels. I hate some people comment, this woman just tell the plain truth, this foolish media as done lot to many people and this was old video even before they were married, what is their business with that? even if the video was yesterday is it their business to display the show to public, many women face same and come over it and at the end the man will turn a new man and the best man for the woman just as this woman here has explain, I feel really sorry for her and the family. The truth is that it was caught on elevator camera and not a mere rumor. Most abused women support their abusive spouse even when there was an abuse. I understand you woman. Your beau is a wife beater. As a result of that he lost his contract and gonna be broke. This a lesson for all wife beaters. No one is trying to destroy your family, your hot headed husband did. If you don't act stupid the media wouldn't talk about you.
