According to reports reaching Allgists.com, Yoruba Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has had to flee the country as the nation's anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has clamped down on her since her husband, Alhaji Atanda Orilowo, who has been indicted over some fraudulent activities popularly called 419, has been elusive.

The pretty actress who dumped her former husband in controversial circumstances to marry Alhaji Orilowo, allegedly had to escape arrest and fly out of the country when she saw that the commission was getting serious about getting her man and the pressure from the body also led to having her high brow boutique being put under lock and key.
We hear that Laide sneaked out to the United States of America to hide from the shame that has been brought on her head and the attendant bad reputation she has been made to endure, something that has also affected her career in the recent past.
Laide Bakare's husband has been indicted and declared wanted by the EFCC some months ago over some alleged 419 activities against a telecommunication giant in the country, but before the long arm of the law could catch up with him, the sharp guy took to his heels and has since been in hiding.
That action forced the agency to clamp down on his properties including Laide's boutiques which they believe was set up for her by her husband from the proceeds of the crime.
Recall that Laide was involved in a high level scandal about a year ago when she dumped her former husband to marry Alhaji Atanda Orilowo. Back then, her ex-husband cried foul, claiming that the pregnancy she was carrying at the time belonged to him but Laide had discountenanced him, saying that though she was still married to the man, she was actually carrying Orilowo's baby.
