Peter Obi Finally Defects To PDP From APGA

After a long and sustained denial, former Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, on Tuesday defected from the All Progressives Grand Alliance to the Peoples Democratic Party.

The defection was declared by Obi himself at a well celebrated ceremony at his Onitsha residence, where PDP bigwigs from the South-East and the entire country turned the place into a carnival, which was attended by heavy traffic in the commercial city for many hours.

Obi said he moved over to the PDP from the regionally-based APGA because he found the PDP to be a better platform to work for national development.

He said his new party would afford him a better opportunity to work with President Goodluck Jonathan, with whom he had aligned in his days as an APGA governor.

“Nobody is more committed to President Goodluck Jonathan than me. So, I will work with him. I am going to work with the President. It is a question of working with the President wholeheartedly and not one leg in APGA and the other leg in PDP. There is the need for us to work together,” he declared.

               Peter Obi,   you are the man of the People....Anambra people love and support you in every of your Mission in PDP.....thats shows a good son of the soul......you have achived your main arm in Anambra State by ensuring the emerge of APGA Governor  In your State for the sack of IKEMBA your master,   Now to move forward in Federal level....i think you  made a good decision ...   you are a brave man....your Master will never have any bias against you....If all the politicians is like you,   i don't think there will be any problem with their masters......what you did means you own IKEMBA  and ANAMBRA state noting......My  dear,   you are free to join  any party of your chioce....but don't forget home ......we are proud of you......
