A Russian airplane which was heading to Chad but had to stop at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in the early hours of Saturday morning when it developed a technical problem has been intercepted by Nigerian authorities.
The pilot sought permission from airport authorities before landing due to its technical problem, but on arrival it was discovered the plane was carrying ammunitions such as AK47s, bullet proof vests and even a helicopter.
The Russian jet, labelled AH-124-100, has been described as a heavy military transport aircraft, which is one of the biggest serial and strategic heavy lifters in the world. However, the Russian Government through its embassy in Nigeria has denied any link with the jet. They made this known through the Russian Embassy’s twitter handle.

since they denail, nigeria should cease the jet then, cos dat jet was made to land in kano, and the jet did not develop any fault, ...and chad, nigeria should be very very carefull of them.
