Iranian government has announced its willingness to use its expertise and experience in fighting terror groups, ISIS and Al-Qaeda in their country to help fight Nigeria's terror group, Boko Haram.
Speaking at the ongoing 4th Assembly of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia today Jan. 31st, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Amir Hossein Abdollohian their country is willing to help Nigeria and Somalia in combating terrorism.
“Boko Haram in Nigeria and Al-Shabaab in the Horn of Africa are similar with Al-Qaeda and ISIS in parts of the Middle East using similar methods of operations to cause havoc to the people of the two regions. Iran is therefore willing to use its experience in dealing with terror groups to assist in combatting these groups in Africa."

On what expense, there is nothing foreign troops can do in Nigeria, nowhere on earth has ever any foreign troops helps to flush out insurgence, so Nigeria own will not be different instead it will escalate. Peace in nothern Nigeria is in the hand of nother elders, imams and the emirs, they should call there people to order and there will be peace.

Everyone is "helping" us. The Lebanese. The Chinese. The British tried. And now "help" from the Iranians? Iran is in tatters - let their "charity" begin at home!!! We do not need more Islamic insurgents disguised as "helpers" on our soil!!!

I guess we should reject that offer. it's not that d FG can't tackle boko haram, they're just not willing to. all their sayings are just camouflage to me.

laughing in french, wonders shall never end. last time i check iranian citizen is sicking asylum in nigeria and all over the world because of terrorism in their own country, they should go and help themself first. somalia is still better than iran to live as of today.
