You will know THAT he loves you by the kind of things he tells you. that is, he always compliments you. he says positive things about you, he is there for you when you need him. you can also try to notice how he fills if he sees you with other guy(s). he might just "like" you don't mistake it for love. but if he really loves you, HE WILL TELL YOU. AND GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO SAY SO.

i think you are jumping the gun a bit here, you are already talking about "being inlove" and he doesn't seem to have acknowledged your existance in that way well, not yet. This is one of those situations you need to let a man be the man, lest you embarass the both of you.
