The Plateau State Police Command have arrested 16-year-old-boy and nine other suspects for allegedly committing armed robberies in different parts of the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Gregory Anyanting, told newsmen that “among the suspects are an ex army officer ex-convicts and others who have confessed to committing the crimes, while the police have recovered three cars, three Jingcheng motorcycles, digital cameras, laptops, handsets 20 guns and live cartridges from the suspects”.,
Mr Ayanting said they arrested the ex army officer and ex-convict in Bauchi with a car they snatched at gun point in Barikin Ladi and recovered a locally made pistol and three live cartridges,
He said another group attacked an okada rider but the police received a distress call from a good Samaritan while they deployed a patrol team at the scene of the incident and arrested two suspects and recovered the motorcycle and N900.
