Few days ago, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), posted on its website the arrest and prosecution of a 21-year-old student for defrauding an American woman of the sum of N20 million via the Internet in what is popularly called 'Yahoo-Yahoo'. But that move is not popular with many Nigerians who think that the anti-graft agency has been expending its energy pursuing the wrong crime while allowing top politicians and government functionaries get away with momentous corruption and looting of Nigeria's money. But another school of thought believe that the body is right in pursuing these Internet fraudsters as they have been denting the image of the country over the years, making those with genuine business deals seen as fraudulent.
We ask: which do you this is a lesser crime between corruption and Internet fraud?

The politicians are worst and even the EFCC are also collecting bribe from the yahoo boys.. if the politicians where doing the primary job that made us to vote for them, the level of corrupting would have be much less and employ the youths though the youth are also trying sell their right to an old man (Buhari) why will a good thinking Nigerian plan to waste his/her vote for a walking corps?

@ Gold777 .. GMB will fight corruption in Nigeria better that your clueless Jona. Infact, it was because of Buari's tough stance on corruption that made many many GEJ loyalists to want to stop GMB. Do your research.

internet fraud is the lesser..corruption by Nigerian politians damages a community,a town and a country..the damage done today will be there for the next twenty years...imagine money meant for developing the country is siphoned by one person..it stunts development  of that society...internet fraud is a person to person crime(mugu)..although I do not condole any of these crimes but one is worse than the other
