can you comment on nysc salary being paid to nysc member . how good is it

of course its just peanuts.the price should be increased.its ridiculous,even a student cant live comfortably on that allowance

Yeah & its less than 100 USD...Damnnn how will someone even live on that for a day in d United States. Huh?. People spend tripple of that in Nite Clubs for 1nite..God help Nigeria.

The allowance is nothing to write home about, its too small and not paid on time, its paid in arrears almost three weeks in to  the new month. it should be reviewed by the govt. cos  all corps needs a better standard of living, its not supposed to be a scheme put in place to suffer us. all ajuwayas (batch B) in house just manage its almost over. May God favour us all with good employment.

its something but the government can afford more than that.the corp members are actually generating much income in their own way.a graduate deserves better than wat the government pays.

the solution of this can be solve by writing to nysc, i think our opinon  should be heard first so that we can draw an inference on this matter. all batch B 2008 nysc corps i salute you.

well i think the federal govt should really look into that,cos we all know what nigeria is all about,cos this is stipend they give to corp member and to them they fill they are doing well is nothing coming to think of it,cos you as a corp member u re out of were u call home no relation and even close ones around you,and the only  way you may need to take care of urself is from what you get from the govt and at the end of all is been taken by transportatation,please the govt should do something about this and stop puting peoples children into suffering after ur whole years in school.

Ekeneduru you did not tell us the current allowee amount been paid to corpers, How do you want those of us who are not serving to judge objectively? or is this your thread limited to corpers? Secondly, the money paid to corpers is not salary but a stipend know as allowance( officially) this means that it is not meant to be commensurate with the service rendered.

Pls don't miss interprete my point. iam not saying this stipend is good enough, iam only trying to put things in the right perspective.

It is a pity, that because of the experiences some corp members pass through during theirs service year the acronm NYSC has been interpreted as" Now your suffering continues".

I wish all the corpers currently in the scheme good luck.

DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE A LEGACY BEHIND, MAKE A GREAT IMPACT IN YOUR PLACE O PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT IN SPITE OF THE ODDS. BE SOMEBODY'S HERO.
