Ace actress, Shan George has joined veteran actor, Lari Williams on the need to investigate the Nigerian film industry. It would be recalled that some days ago, Lari Williams urged President Muhammadu Buhari to probe the $200million released to the creative industry in Nigeria by the immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan. This forced a statement out of the Bank of Industry, which claimed the money was never released to them by the last administration. For the actress, who is presently on a set in Calabar, Cross River State, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) should beam its searchlight on Nollywood because she believes the industry is corrupt. “I'm using this fine morning to ask this fine question. Who ate the money ex-president Jonathan gave to Nollywood? EFCC please probe this,” she said

presidency funding nollywood? for what. while there are many government establishments that are poorly funded. these are business men and women under the umbrella called nollywood. neither are they accountable to government nor d masses. it is the past administration that created room for d corruption in that organisation. does american government fund hollywood? likewise bollywood and ghollywood etc. why won't they embezzle d money because they don't have project to invest d money into. they believe d money is meant for sharing.
