The Senate Petitions committee today cleared former Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi of all petitions brought against him before the senate over his ministerial nomination.
According to the senate petition committee, the matters brought before it by the petitioners are currently in court and so will not be interfering in such matters. They immediately cleared Rotimi and asked him to take a bow and go. They asked all the petitioners to wait for the outcome of the various cases in court.

Oh my God, see fools in power. How can anybody tell me that Rotimi Amaechi who openly told the public that he stole only little billions when he was a governor be cleared by the Senate? Rotimi Amaechi claims to be among Nigerians who are above the law. I pity that country called Nigeria because everything is all about who is backing you. He stole Rivers money and sponsored Buhari and that is why he was cleared innocent. Hahahahahaahahaha see change. Even Buhari is a deadly corrupt fool. Arrant nonsense. See fools in power at APC.

I don't see why some ppl should be probed for corruption, while some will be cleared of corruption charges... I always knew that these ppl are criminals...

In a sane country, the ideal thing would have been to make them wait till after the court case has been resolved and not to clear them. What if they are found guilty, will they be stripped of their appointments? Much ado about Buhari fighting corruption.
