My dear, its not a must! Tho I'm a man, some men are nothing but trouble. I have very good female friends who have good careers, house, money & are single parents, they tell me they're fine as they are & I can see they aren't lying. Madam if ure cool with ur status, who are we to force or judge u?

Except you don't want to have s*x again and have a companion for the rest of life,"YES", but if you do otherwise you are simply fornication outside marriage  which is forbidden before God and religiously unacceptable so  it is necessary for you to have a husband as to legally have intimate moment together and build a home together.

The bible even says some ppl will marry while some will choose to remain single till they die. A good example is brother Paul in the bible who wrote three quarter of the new testament. He remained single till his end. If u don't want to marry, then remain celibate!
