The Leader of Ile-Ife kingmakers and the Obalufe of Iremo quarters, Oba Solomon Omisakin is dead.

His death is coming at peak of battle for the throne of the new Ooni of Ife.

According to reports, Obalufe, the leader of the chiefs on right side of Ooni and next in rank to him, is also the prime minister of Ife and oversees the town in the absence of an Ooni.
