Ringo Starr’s old drum kit has sold for £1.46million at
auction in the US, writes Karen Rockett in the Sunday
People .
The kit was used by Starr on Beatles hits Can’t Buy Me
Love and She Loves You.
Multi-millionaire Indianapolis Colts NFL owner Jim Irsay,
56, shelled out for the three-piece instrument at a
fundraiser in LA.
Ringo, 75, and wife Barbara Bach, 68, are selling more
than 800 pieces of memorabilia from his houses around
the world to raise money for their Lotus Children
Foundation.

This people knows how to make money, Ringo drum sold out for 1.46million and they still have to dedicate it to the poor. Nice one.
