Eight secondary school students have been arrested by the Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for being cult members.
The suspects, five boys and three girls were between ages of 14 and 16 belong to the Eiye fraternity.
Saturday Vanguard gathered that the leader of the gang who initiated the female members reportedly had s3x with them to welcome them to the group. They were arrested in Akure by officials of the command following a tip off.
Parading the suspects, the State Commander of the Corps, Mr. Ayinla Adeyinka said that a former student of the school came back to the school to initiate the under-aged students.
“The former student of the secondary schools was the one that came to the school to persuade the students to join his group. He had s3x with the female ones to initiate them.”
They NSCDC boss said that the suspects met every Friday in the school premises. Adeyinka pointed out that the command was still investigating and would soon charge them to court
Speaking with newsmen, one of the female suspect confessed that three of them were initiated by her boyfriend who is a student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo identified as ‘Sergeant’
The 15-year-old suspect said she joined the group in November last year when Sergeant introduced the group to her and her friends.
According to her” He had s3x with the three of us in his house and after the s3x he inflicted cuts in our hands to take our blood and told us that we had joined his group.’’ She added that they used to meet inside the bush at the back of their school every Friday after the school hours.
The NSCDC commandant said the command had been on the trail of the other fleeing suspects and assured that they would soon be arrested.

vulnerable teenagers should be taught how to think critically about cultism, it appears it is easier to initiate secondary student, exposing the uselesness of cultism will help them resist.
