Kanu Heart Foundation Records Another Successful Heart surgery As He Visits Uganda(Photos)

Nigerian legend Kanu Nwankwo extended his humanitarian drive to Uganda as his charity organization, Kanu Heart Foundation(KHF) recently undertook a successful heart surgery on a Ugandan girl.

Kanu, on a three-day visit to the East African nation, was on hand to boost the morale of staff and patients as the Ugandan child in the village of Katanga was operated on under the auspices of KHF.

The two-time African footballer of the year revealed his joy at helping to save lives and providing inspiration to millions of kids who want to become successful footballers later in life.

Kanu Nwankwo who famously overcame a life-threatening heart defect to record tremendous accomplishments on the football field, admonished the teenagers to work very hard as “what you put in is what you get”.

The former Arsenal, Inter Milan and Ajax striker also took the time to show the eager kids some tricks of the game, claiming the feeling of camaraderie is “unbeatable”.
This will be the third successful heart surgery to be carried out by KHF and former Super Eagles captain has called for more support to facilitate their laudable efforts.

How sweet when you realized the values of living your dream .Kanu was a benefactor of heart transplant and taking it upon himself to extend same gesture and lead donors to help those lives struggling to live is applaud able ..A genuine charity organization with intent to help those indeed in need should be supported and trusted .Some charity organization with millions of donations counting into the billions only expend the smallest portion of donation received to finance its organization objective ,making people wondering if money is diverted for personal use or spent more on management and administration than on its major purpose .
