the writer's mind is beclouded by slave mentality.  Marriage is not slavery, and both man and wife are equal partners in that union. I am disturbed when children, born in this google era  are talking about "African culture". you don't know a thing about African culture. The reason why women were too submissive to their husbands then was because, he was the sole breadwinner in the family...and not because it is African culture.
men hid under that culture umbrella to deny and deprive their wives from acquiring wealth and achieving greatness .
Of what good is a husband who uses drugs, steal money, patronize loose women, lie through his teeth, doesn't care for his child,hardly sleeps home and habitually drunk .....such a man is a disgrace to good husbands worldwide.

SOUNDS GREAT......SO DO I TOO..... GUESS WE ALL SOMETIMES HAVE DIFFERENT KNDA FLAWS IN OUR VARIOUS MARRIAGE AND HOMES NO MATTER WHAT,IF I MAY ASK  HAVE YOU EVER COME OUT PUBLICLY TO PUBLICIST IT REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT MAY BE? I understand your reasoning and point of view on the topic. However i don't know if you read the things written by her husband
against Tiwa and her family.  did you expect her to just stay silent and allow the world to think that she is guilty as charged .
TIWA SAVAGE is a brand name that was being destroyed by a man who claimed to be her husband.  What right thinking person
 destroys his own home .  love, respect and tolerance in marriage should be reciprocal...and not a one- way street.
Before the online rantings from her husband, did Tiwa ever publicly say anything bad about him?
we should not hide under the cloak of African culture and subjugate our women to ridicule and shame.
I will not allow and accept any man to treat my daughter that way. We need to be progressive in our thinking and our way of life.
I AM PROUD TO BE AN AFRICAN.....BUT NOT THE TEE BILLZ TYPE OF AFRICAN.
