Court Sends Lekan Shonde to 34 Days in Prison "I Didn’t Kill My Wife" He Tells Court

An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate Court has ordered the remand of alleged wife killer, Lekan Shonde, in prison for 30 days. Lekan was arraigned this morning on charges of murder by the police. He is alleged to have killed his wife, Ronke Shonde at their Egbeda flat and fled.

The charge reads: “That you Shonde Olalekan, on May 5, 2016, at about 2030 hours at No. 3, Tiemo Street, Egbeda, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did kill one Ronke Shonde, ‘F’ age 37, by giving her fist blow on her head, and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 221 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.”
When he was asked if he understood the charge, Shonde asked for the last paragraph to be re-read, after which he replied, “I didn’t kill her.”
The case was adjourned till 24th of June.

Men do suffer for this life oo!, I read the story on the news yesterday, they don fight finish o, which I do not surport fighting either and the guy made peace with her that night, she developed illness that night and in the morning the woman was dead, the man left the house out of fear I presume and later submitted to the police, an authopsy said the woman did not die because of any fighting injury, which means he might have died of the illness she developed that night. So why still accusing the man of murder? small thing small thing now they will kill the man join the woman. There is a woman human right NGO who want to make sure the man is purnished, where is men human right NGO? Please these women this, women that, human right is human right man or woman please oo! he he he. The police should conduct a second authopsy to know if the woman died of poisoning and who gave her the poison, if not they should let the man go and look after the children.[/size]

No matter wat men shld not beat women. Yes we can provoke but wat abt our parent who don't beat but still punish our mother and they will not want d punishment again by not eating d food and sleep wit them ( u guys know wat I mean)
