The very fact that 9ice is trying to prevent the younger artist's songs not to be played anywhere is an indication that 9ice is scared that people will hear the others song and conclude that he has talent. It is wrong to steal other people's intellectual works without giving them credit as well as royalty. This is a warning for those that write songs, make sure that you copyright your work. It could be as simple as mailing the songs back to yourself registered mail. Do not open it until you go to court as proof that somebody stole your work. Do that before you take your work out there for other artists to look at. If you collaborate your writings, make sure that you both have split sheets and the percentages written down. If 9ice did what the other guy is talking about, he should not over power him, but give him credit and percentages for his work. A worker deserves his wages. @ENMY2009: You may queston his looks or swagger (afterall beauty is in the eye of the beholder) but it is idotic to say becos someone does not look 'good' in picture, he should therefore not complain if his lyrics were hijacked.....Did you even LISTEN to the song? The man in an interview showed his song titled 'onpe' released in 2007, thats 2 years ago that had 'coming soon Petepete' for instance and it showed up in 9ice album released in december 2009 and you are abusing the boy....thats apart from the reference to Kenny St Brown show...so, lets not be sentimental...looks like there is something here to complain about and should be investigated | Posted: at 13-02-2010 12:08 PM (15 years ago) | Newbie | |
