It is traditional for Africans to dress in Dashiki and other regalia when attending a big occasion. So, what other occasion could be bigger for an interracial young man who is trying to find his identity, than a brother's/cousin's or family member's wedding? Whether u are a Christian or Muslim, our clothes are part of our culture not our religion. After all, his father was mostly seen in western outfits - clothes do not make a man's religion as far as Africans are concerned.
