Emeka Ike does not want to divorce his wife – Emma Ike. The Nollywood actor is fighting for his marriage even though his estranged wife does not want to be with him after filing for the divorce on the grounds on continuous battery.
The actor had a very public and acrimonious separation from his wife last year even accusing Pastor Chris Okotie of keeping his wife from him and hiring a divorce lawyer for her, which led to a messy back and forth between the Pastor and Emeka. Now he’s taken his case from the customary court to the High court and begging them not to dissolve the marriage.
Read more after the jump Emeka is now denying ever touching his wife and has stated that he still loves her. His lawyer has filed a stay of proceedings with the Lagos High Court which states that the customary court lacked the jurisdiction to continue with the divorce suit, therefore all prior proceedings by the customary court regarding the divorce suit should be rendered null until the hearing and determination of the suit at the High Court. The case was adjourned to a later date.
I dunno o Emma claims he is physically abusive! Should she stay even though he’s pulling out all the stops to halt his divorce?

in as much as i dont support divorce, at d same time i cant advise my fellow women to stay in battering relationship or marriage. alot of ladies are now 6fts below all because of domestic violence. though, its her choice if she still loves her husband, then she should just go back and fix things up. but dat emeka is always in d news either fighting one person or d other.
