The students were reportedly made to sign deportation documents in preparation for their deportation back to Nigeria. In the deportation document, it was stated that they will not be accepted to Turkey pursuant after the deportation and that until their flight is ready for the deportation, they will be kept inside TAV Private Security Room, according to a report.
The detained Nigerians are mainly students of Fathi University, one of the private universities in Turkey. The Fathi University is among the 2099 schools, dormitories and universities shut down in the wake of the July 15th failed coup in Turkey. The Turkish authorities said the schools and universities were terrorist schools because they have links with Islamic scholar Fethullah Gulen, whom the Turkish government had accused of being the mastermind of the coup in Turkey…

People will not understand the real issue before blaming them of going to Turkey to school. They re been persecuted because Nigeria government refused to heard to their calls for Nigeria Turkish International School be shut down for allege involvement in coup that happen in that country that is just their offence and Erdogan began to harass innocent people for what they know nothing about.

This is terrible , what i dont understand about the so called coup in tokey is that " was it the whole citizens of tokey and foreign nationales that plotend that coup ? Because the govt have vertually arrested and detained everyone living there , what has student got to do with coup ? How many pple will he detain cos of a coup
